It might just need some ports forwarded or it might be a firewall issue or it could be that they haven't coded in to state what NAT you actually have lol. I wouldn't worry too much about it, it seems to run pretty well with moderate NAT. I think it's still running peer to peer too.

Sorry completely missed this; it's sort of making your router link with a fully trusted IP address, which you can assign to your console/PC, and it works in a similar way to opening/forwarding ports, and will almost always open your NAT Type (but does reduce security).
